How To Accelerate Your Copywriting Career (Aside From Getting Mentors and Studying Notable Copywriters)?

Today’s post after a month-long hiatus will go to answer Diane’s question.

She asked…

What is the one thing we can do to accelerate our copywriting career (aside from getting mentors like you and probably studying the work of notable copywriters abroad)?

My answer: Get your copy running and tested.

For me, that’s the fastest way to learn, succeed, and get known as a copywriter.

When you test or a client tests your copy, you will learn and understand how your market will respond to your copy.

By knowing that, you will also get yourself familiarized with what is working and not.

It’s a knowledge you won’t get by reading or doing your research.

And when you understand your market too well because of testing, you can write a more converting copy… even if you do minimal research.

And once you write converting copy consistently, your name will surely gets recognized as a one of the top copywriters… because you are too good not to get talked about.

When this happens, be ready for the influx of clients that are willing to pay your price.

So if you want to accelerate your copywriting career (considering that you have the basic copywriting knowledge to get started)…

It’s important to get your copy tested… either by you or your client.
