How To Use Google To Build A Long List Of Copywriting Prospects To Reach Out To?

Are you already running out of lead generation strategies to find prospects to offer your copywriting services?

Here is a simple yet effective hack in building a long list of prospects you can reach out to.

It’s through the ever-reliable…Mr. Google.

Below are the steps on how you can use Google to find a rolodex of copywriting prospects.

  1. First, open your Google browser. Type in your target market + keywords like associations/ organizations/ expos + your target location in the search bar.

For example: health coaches associations in US

Adding such keywords helps you refine your search results.

It saves you time in browsing through a sea of random prospects since you get a more targeted list.

  1. Then, you will be redirected to a list of websites.

Pick and click one and start looking for the members list or members directory tab.

This tab usually contains a long list of all their members along with their respective contact information.

In short, this is your goldmine!

Note: Some lists are public while some are private so be patient in doing your search.

Also, you can look for testimonials on the same website.

Because sometimes your copywriting prospects might have left testimonials for that specific organization or association.

This gives you another way of finding more leads in just one website alone.

  1. Once you’ve found a list of copywriting prospects, copy and paste their names in your prospecting spreadsheet and viola!

You already have a list to whom you can send an email, LinkedIn connection, or a friend request on Facebook.

And when searching for them, don’t forget to…

  1. Be on the lookout for any helpful information like your prospect’s email and website.

They usually leave these details on their Facebook and LinkedIn accounts so make sure to note them down.

And lastly, once you got their contact information, it’s now time to…

  1. Connect and send them messages or emails.

Start building a good relationship by giving value and that’s it.

Rinse and repeat.

Just be patient with your prospecting and lead generation as you can definitely turn them into prospects and clients in no time.

I hope you will start implementing this lead generation strategy for your copywriting business.

Happy prospecting.
