Today, I’d love to share with you one principle that can help you write winning ads…
In less time…
Without going through the common “writer’s block”.
I use this everytime I write… and it really works great for me.
I hope it can help you, too.
And, that is to…
Generate then eliminate.
You see: One of the reasons we find it difficult to write copy is because we tend to overthink our copy on the get go.
Wherein fact, all we need to do are:
- Dive into the research
- Assess your research
- Eliminate unnecessary information
- Choose the angle you want to use
- Start writing copy
Yes, it’s a process.
However, the majority of copywriters ( I am also guilty of this, too) tend to rush on the copy…
Without really diving into the research or understanding the market.
It’s difficult!
And while you see other copywriters, who can immediately and easily crank up copy…
What you don’t see is…
They’ve researched enough…
They’ve enough experience writing for that niche or market…
Or, they already know the market too well.
In short, these copywriters already have generated enough info and data that can help them write winning ads and promotions.
And now, all they need is to eliminate the unnecessary info, depending on the angle they want to pursue, so they can start writing.
This is what you need to do, too!
First, generate data and research.
Second, eliminate research info that won’t help.
Third, write your copy.
